Obituary

Cleo A. Mattke, 95, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2012 in Overland Park, KS. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Campbell. Cleo is survived by two children, Col. E. Terry Mattke of Norfolk, VA, and Cheryl Mattke of Leawood, KS; his grandchildren, Dawn, Amanda and Andrew; his great- grandchildren, Trey, Preston, Tara and Mason; and his sister, Lois Ellison. Cleo was born in Fredericksburg, IA, on December 30, 1916 and lived in Kansas City most of his life, while serving as a Captain with TWA for 33 years. Cleo and Margaret moved to Sun City/West, AZ, to enjoy retirement in 1978. In July 2012 he returned home to Kansas City to be with family. Funeral service will be held at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park in KC, MO on Friday, January 4, 2013.
