Twin Falls, Idaho: Clifford Samuel "Sandy" Dover, 63, of Twin Falls, died Thursday, July 3, 3014 at his home. Cliff was born on March 30, 1951 to Charles and Josephine Dover. He grew up on a farm in Twin Falls, Idaho, and joined the United States Navy right out of high school. He was stationed in Port Glasgow, Scotland where he met the love of his life Elizabeth Dover. He proudly served in the United States Navy for ten years, and then he and his family moved back to Twin Falls, Idaho where he worked as a welder. Twin Falls, Idaho: Clifford Samuel "Sandy" Dover, 63, of Twin Falls, died Thursday, July 3, 3014 at his home.
Cliff was born on March 30, 1951 to Charles and Josephine Dover. He grew up on a farm
in Twin Falls, Idaho, and joined the United States Navy right out of high school. He was
stationed in Port Glasgow, Scotland where he met the love of his life Elizabeth Dover. He
proudly served in the United States Navy for ten years, and then he and his family moved back to Twin Falls, Idaho where he worked as a welder.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles Dover, his loving wife Elizabeth Dover, and a son Sean Dover. He is survived by his mother Josephine Dover, a brother Charles (Lanette) Dover, and two sons Allan (Margaret) Dover and Roger (Jamie) Dover. He is also survived by four grandchildren Lane Dover, Jackson Dover, Maura Dover, and Katilyn Dover.
Cliff's life will be celebrated at a graveside service at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls with Father Mike St. Marie of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church officiating and military rites by the Magic Valley Veterans Association and the Idaho National Guard. A dinner in Cliff's honor will be held after the service for friends and family. Arrangements are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Twin Falls.
