Cliff was born and raised on a farm near Sunnyside. He, his father and his brothers milked 22 cows before and after school, as well as performing many other chores. Cliff enlisted in the Army Air Force during WWII, returning to Yakima following his discharge. He worked for a local camera store for 11 years before opening his own store - - Cliff Miller's Cameras with Valeta in 1956. Over the years his great delight was in his customers. When you met Cliff he was immediately your friend. He retired in 1980 and since that time he enjoyed golf, gardening and his computer.
