I found this poem on the internet & felt it speaks of how all of your children feel:

"Dear Daddy in Heaven"

We sit here and ponder how very much
We'd like to talk with you today.
There are so many things
That we didn't get to say.
We know how much you care for us
And how much we care for you,
And each time that we think of you
We know you'll miss us too.
An angel came and took you by the hand, and said
Your place was ready in Heaven, far above . .
And you had to leave behind, all those you dearly loved
You had so much to live for; you had so much to do . .
It still seems impossible that God was taking you.
And though your life on earth is past, in Heaven it starts anew
You'll live for all eternity, just as God has promised you.
And though you've walked through Heaven's gate
We are never far apart
For every time we think of you,
You're right here, deep with-in our hearts.

We loved Daddy very much, and will miss him...his laugh, jokes, and always trying to help someone. He "fought the good fight...and finished the race..."

To my sweet little Daddy, how can I begin to say how much I love you and will miss you? Though I don't remember much about my very young years I do remember as I grew older how hard you worked to always make sure I had what I needed . Even those years I wasn't living with you, there were so many times you'd call, drive over for a short visit, give me money & before leaving, give me hug & always said, "I love you". I know too there were times when I let you down, like the summer at your house when I accidently backed your old Chevy into the neighbor's car but didn't tell you. You later found out but you didn't get mad, you simply said, "I just wish you had told me". There was also your protective side – I met a guy while at GA camp & made plans to go out. When I told you, you gently said, "You're not going anywhere til I meet him & say he's OK". I felt so proud – it showed that you loved me & wanted to make sure who you trusted your "baby" girl to. I will so miss your phone calls, your jokes, our visits & going out to eat. I wish we'd been able to spend more time together but, I guess in this life, there never is enough time. But one day, we will have all the time we want. Our family gatherings surely won't be the same. But, what a joyous day it will be when we all meet again in Heaven. So for now, rest my sweet little Daddy & enjoy walking with Jesus…please give Ron & Mama a hug for me. I love you Daddy! ~~ Your Baby Daughter

While you weren't a wealthy man, Pappaw, you were rich in the love you had from your family. You led a full life and have provided us with many memories and wonderful stories to pass down for generations to come. We wish you were still here with us but we will be at peace knowing that God set you free from your illness and called you to His loving home. You'll forever live on in our hearts as our much adored Pappaw Shairrick. ~ Love Tina, Matt, Megan, & Trevor

Grandpa Shairrick,

I can't get over how fast time flies. I regret not taking more time to spend with you over the years since my childhood. It's funny how life has gotten in the way and now life has taken away. I will always remember spending time making ceramics, riding my motorcycle, or collecting eggs from the chicken coupe out back. Of course I will always remember that horrid tasting well water too LOL! From 17 cans of Spam to fishing and camping at Brown Cedar cut you will always be remembered. Rest easy now. Much love from the Campbell Family. Dave(y)

Cliff repaired steel guitars, amplifiers, and other musical equipment for a countless number of musicians throughout the area. If you needed anything repaired, you knew you could count on Cliff to either fix it or give advise. When we were having a conversation, he usually had a little joke to tell before we finished talking. Cliff was a very special friend and it was an honor knowing him.
