As a Captain, I had the pleasure of being under Colonel Bassetti's command while stationed at Bolling AFB (1991-1996) - he was a good boss...firm...mission focused ... fair. He will be missed. Dr. Stephanie Parson (Winter Garden, FL)

Judy, Dave and I were heartbroken to learn today of Bob's passing! What a shock! I will always remember Bob (Col Bassetti) as my best boss and a great mentor. When I worked for him I was the Commander at Ft Meade and he had several female commanders working for him. We were affectionately know as "Bassetti's Babes!" He was a great officer and an even better friend. Dave and I are keeping you and your family in our thoughts. Anne and Dave Burtt
