On Wednesday evening, June 15th, our beloved Colby was called to heaven to be with the Lord and his Grandpa Ronnie. Even though those of us who loved Colby are devastated and extremely saddened by his tragic departure from our lives, we have found a sense of peace knowing he is with his grandpa, a man who Colby loved and adored.
Colby was a kind, loving, and beautiful person. His smile lit up a room and his laugh was contagious. His generosity to help anyone made him even that much more special to his family, especially his grandma Sharron, his friends and his co-workers. At almost 17, Colby was looking forward to his Summer and especially to his senior year.
Colby had accomplished a great deal in his short time here on Earth. He had several jobs mowing lawns, worked at Gibson and Son Trucking and helped irrigate fields when called upon. All of these jobs led to the earning of money that went to Colby's pride and joy... his truck. Colby was so proud of his red 'monster' truck. His free time was spent tinkering with or enhancing any part of it to reflect his pride. When not tinkering Colby could be found at his Uncle Mike's house playing the weekly Monopoly game that held so many dear memories for all of them.
Colby is survived by his mom and dad, Jody and Rod Justice, his two younger brothers, Kyler and Keaton, grandparents Sharron Allemand, Karen and Buck Charles, great-grandmas Minnie Buhr and June Herrick, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
The reaction to Colby's tragic passing has been incredible, only showing once again how much he was loved and how many lives he had already touched at 16 years old. What a great loss for all of us knowing all that he would have become in the future. A special fund is set up at Yakima Federal Savings to help with the unexpected expenses in dealing with Colby's death. A memorial service has been scheduled at Kittitas High School on Saturday, June 25th, at 1:00pm. Potluck donations can be dropped off at Kittitas High School Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The memorial service will be followed by a potluck gathering to share memories of Colby's life and how he touched us all. Arrangements under the direction of Steward & Williams Tribute Center, Ellensburg, WA.

Dear Jody, Rod & Boys,
I need not tell you what a wonderful son Colby was...you as parents helped mold his personally and love for other people. As parents you did a bang up job. I need not tell you that we will see Colby again...Christ has given the blessed hope of the resurrection. I can not imagine the pain and sorrow that his passing has caused you and your children. My and Connie's prayers are with you and I pray you find some comfort in the next few months. I need not tell you that Colby was much loved...his service yesterday was prove of that. Colby will be greatly missed by all who knew him...and he will remain a reminder of how his love and concern for other people touched so many lives.
Love in Christ
Your Uncle Vern & Aunt Connie Allemand

Jody,Rod Kyler,Keaton,Sharon and the rest of Colby's family-The loss you have experienced is everyones worst nightmare. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. The kind of person your son was is a testament to what kind of parents you are.I will always remember Colby from when Kyler played ball with Adam.He was there for his brother and the other boys on the team.He was a big help to me and his Dad with coaching that team. From a very young age it was obvious that he was raised right. My heart is aching for all of you.I hope and pray you can somehow find comfort in the fact that your boy is now in the loving arms of his beloved Grandpa. And I know his Grandpa is taking very good care of him for you.Colby maybe gone from this earth but he will never be forgotten by those of us whose lives he touched.Again, you are all in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.Sincerly and with deepest sympathy,Mike
