Connie W. Bickley
IRMO-Funeral service for Connie W. Bickley, 93, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 367, 2081 Dutch Fork Road, White Rock, South Carolina 29177.
Mrs. Bickley was born April 22, 1918 in White Rock, SC and passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011. She was a daughter of the late Daniel George and Mary Anna Meetze Whites. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Deborah Circle.
Mrs. Bickley is survived by her son, Lewis B."Buddy" Bickley, Jr. and his wife Phyllis. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis B. Bickley, Sr.; sisters, Annie Mae Broadway, and Nellie Jones; brother, Bennie Whites; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family, Kevin, Stacey, Lyndsey, and Shellie Hoover.
The family would like to give special thanks to Tri-County Hospice; special caregiver, Mary Lyghts; Dr. John Black; and the staff of Lexington Internal Medicine.
