Constance M. "Connie" Rigsby, 65, of Normal, passed away at 2:55pm Sunday January 20, 2013 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. Connie was born May 12, 1947 in Chicago to Donald and Neva Rigsby. They preceded her in death. Surviving are 1 sister, Karol A. Bemis of Urbana; 1 brother, Kenneth C. (Frankie) Rigsby, of Indianapolis; nieces, Kara Gossett, Wendy France, and Melanie Curt Rhesill; and nephew, James Scott Rigsby. A graduate of the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University, she became an ordained E.M.A. Minister. She was very active with Walk to Emmaus until her health could no longer permit it. Connie was born May 12, 1947 in Chicago to Donald and Neva Rigsby. They preceded her in death.

Surviving are 1 sister, Karol A. Bemis of Urbana; 1 brother, Kenneth C. (Frankie) Rigsby, of Indianapolis; nieces, Kara Gossett, Wendy France, and Melanie Curt Rhesill; and nephew, James Scott Rigsby.

A graduate of the University of Illinois and Southern Illinois University, she became an ordained E.M.A. Minister. She was very active with Walk to Emmaus until her health could no longer permit it. She loved her family at Plonka Terrace in Galesburg. She was a devoted Christian, a loving sister and friend. In life and even in death she is a beautiful witness to the love of Christ.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Normal. East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is assisting with cremation arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Baby Fold Christian Life Fund or the American Kidney Foundation.
