Constance Simone Whitelow, 52, of Harrisonburg, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sept. 7, 2016. She was born on July 29, 1964, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Clarence Theodore and Charlotte Blakey Whitelow.
Constance graduated from Harrisonburg High School in 1982 and attended Blue Ridge Community College. She was formerly employed at Newman Aluminum in Waynesboro for several years and was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She loved to read and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Cory, Courtland and Ciahnna Whitelow; her grandchildren, Ciniah and Cimone Johnson, Cadren Whitelow and Zion Cruce; sisters, Christine and Cynthia Whitelow; brothers, Courtney Whitelow Sr., Carlyle Whitelow Sr. and Christopher Jones; a special aunt and uncle, Henry Whitelow and Linda Ferrell, all of Harrisonburg; and a special friend Anthony Strother of Staunton.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Whitelow Jr.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at John Wesley United Methodist Church.
