Betsy Healy
Dear Ellis,
I was so sorry to read about Connie in the NY Times, but happy to find out what happened to you
since we lived next door in Washington D.C.. in 1959.
Hope to hear from you.
My deepest sympathies
Betsy Healy, (973)377-5325, 165 Village Road, NJ 07935

We hoped some of you from New Rochelle and Mom's early life (at Isaac E. Young or the Thousand Island Park) might remember her and share some memories of her (and perhaps her siblings or her parents, Tom and Adelaide at 48 Liberty Ave). Thank you for your notes of sympathy. They mean so very much.

God comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. (2 Cor. 1:4)

The Isaac E. Young High School Alumni Association (New Rochelle, NY)mourns the passing of our own 'Connie' Howland (Class of '45) described in her yearbook as Ms. "Vim,vigor, and vitality..." Cute as a button while an excellent editor and writer, she now joins her younger brother Tommy (Class of '46.)We remember the Howland family who lived on Liberty Av. here in town and all three of them romping and playing in the park-like setting outside their home.Well done, Connie; you accomplished beautifully.
