Ms. Epting passed away Friday, June 16, 2017 to join Jesus in Heaven. She was born August 29, 1927 to Harry E. and Ellis Price Epting. Cornelia lived a full life supporting her family after her mother came down with cancer, taking care of her three brothers as what a mother would do making a home for her mother, father and three brothers. Cornelia was a supporter of her Lord, and church group with blessings. One of seven children, six deceased, two living, Price "Hank" Epting (Edith), Ray Ellis Epting (Judy); nine nephews and nieces, Ann Gunter (Larry), Kathy Caughman (Jesse), Debbie Cockrell, (Bobby), Tammy Waters (Marty), Jennifer Burnett, Samantha Smith (deceased), Jimmy Smith (Becky), Douglas Epting and Bruce Smith (deceased).
We would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Lexington Extended Care and Agape Hospice House for the care they gave to Cornelia.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 246 St. Paul's Church Road, Gilbert, SC 29054.

Even though she may not be here in "body", she will Forever remain in my Childhood Memories as the "Very Sweet & Soft Spoken" neighbor who was always happy when I stopped by to show her my "Fine Catch of the Day" of (very small) fish from the Creek. (I grew up across the street from her until 14 years of age). As I return to Gilbert to "fix up" my old home, I will miss her dearly. I will keep her Memory alive though as I tell my daughter about the "Very Best Years of my Life". I always felt safe going "exploring " because I knew she would be "watching out her window" to make sure nothing happened to me. Please take Comfort in knowing that NOW she'll be watching over YOU & the rest of her Family that she Loves So Much.
