FAIRLAND, OK-Funeral Services for Courtney Richelle Bird-Arnold will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Kansas High School Gym in Kansas, OK with Pastor Jerry Baser officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2013 at Reed-Culver Funeral Home from noon until 6:00 PM. Burial will be held at Oaks Cemetery in Oaks, OK.
Pallbearers for Courtney include Dustin Williams, Cliff Barber, Kyle Dozier, Korey Langton, Cameron Foreman, Tim Webster, Eric Burchette, and Allen Burchette.
Courtney Richelle Bird-Arnold was born on January 28th, 1989 in Siloam Springs, AR, the daughter of Rodney and May (Maddox) Bird. She attended high school and graduated from Westville High School. She married the love of her life, Cory Arnold on September 17th 2011 at Spring Valley Ranch in Eucha, OK. Together they were raising a daughter, Aubree Mae Elger and one son Briar Marshall Wayne Arnold. Courtney was in the process of becoming a nurse. When she wasn't attending school, Courtney was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was an avid photography enthusiast and loved capturing lifes moments on film. She loved crafting and made hair bows and collectibles. Courtney was a music lover and enjoyed a wide variety of music. She enjoyed time spent out of doors hunting and fishing with family and friends. Her happiest moments were spent in the company of her children. She adored them and enjoyed watching them grow. Courtney was blessed with a great sense of humor and the type of personality that made her a friend to everyone she met. She loved people and it showed. She possessed a radiant smile and a loving heart. A Christian by faith, she attended Christ Church in Fairland, OK. The Lord called Courtney home from her labors on July 26th, 2013 in Grove, OK with her loving family at her side. Courtney was 24 years old. She leaves a void that will be so difficult to fill, but her loving heart will remain forever.
Courtney is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother and her paternal grandparents.
Courtney's memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband Cory Arnold,of the home, her adored daughter, Aubree of the home, and her beloved son, Briar of the home. Courtney's parents include her father, Rodney Bird and wife Dana of Stilwell, OK, and her mother, May Maddox- Bird of Oaks, OK. She leaves one brother and two sisters, Stephanie Seay-Moore and husband Jimmy of Stilwell, Richard Maupin of Westville, OK, and Brandy Seay and Kyle Pritchett of Stilwell, OK. Her father and mother in law include Donnie and Teresa Burchette of Fairland, OK and Larry and Renee Arnold of Westville, OK. Her brothers in law include Eric Burchette of Gravette, AR and Allen Burchette and wife Stacy of Bentonville, AR. She leaves four sisters in law, Kendra Arnold, Sarah Thompson, Mary Guthary and Jessica Burchette. Her very special friends include Melinda Barber and husband Cliff of Westville, OK, Brandi Dozier and husband Kyle of NC, Raquel Cochran of Tahlequah, OK as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
