Obituary

Curtis Lee Marcum, Sr., 93, of Byhalia, MS passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Marcum was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Jean Marcum on November 4, 2013. He will be remembered by his two sons, Curtis Lee (Mattie) Marcum, Jr. and Robert Lee Marcum; two sisters, Maggie Goolsby and Betty Jean Turner; five grandchildren, Mickey Marcum, Michelle Marcum, Jessica Marcum, Lauren Marcum and Dee Dee Ross; and five great grandchildren, Charlie Marcum, Morgan Wagner, Meagan Wagner, Haley Ross and Christopher Ross. The gathering of family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday evening, December 26 at Collierville Funeral Home. A Celebration of Curtis's life will be at 2 p.m., Friday, December 27 at the funeral home with interment to follow in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
