THE ARTIST (C. STIVERS)
I see a manuscript on canvas
The paints chosen with care
The soul the artist
Lovingly placed it there
With every stroke of the brush
No matter the hue
Master piece of love
God given to the few
Lo a finished painting
With another one in the heart
Sprinkled rainbows of ideas
To art lovers impart
And on some tomorrow
Canvas and paints put aside
The gifts from the artist
Treasures forever will abide
This poem was written about you. Bless you for sharing your talent with others like myself.

Rest in peace cousin and foster sister. I also was raised by Aunt Mandy and spent much of my early years with Peggy. I remember when she and Billy were married, the birth of Allen, David, and James and visiting them all in Hamilton Ill when I was sixteen. Our lives took different paths over the years and I was hoping to see her on my recent visit to Kentucky, but fate intervened. I have
always remembered Peggy as a beautiful young girl. I am glad I did get to see her at our last reunion. She will always be remembered as the kind, beautiful girl I recall.

To my dear cousin, Peggy, of which I have only seen in the past six to seven years, when she moved back to Kentucky for a few years. She was a very, very kind and beautiful woman!

I will miss talking to you. You were so loving towards me from the very first time we meet. I loved spending time with you on that broken swing out at the farm. I will cherish the memories until we are together again for all eternity. God bless you, love you, your favorite daughter-in-law.
