Obituary

Dale F. Deahl, 80, of Vivian, LA passed away at his home. He was born on December 2, 1933 in Elkhart, IN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean war. Mr. Deahl was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Deahl, son, Michael Deahl and step-son Robbie L. Roberson. Survivors included two daughters, Susan Deahl of Bossier City, LA and Vicki Brittain of Blackduck, MN; three step-daughters, Judy Pike of Tampa, FL, Mary Crownover of Tampa, FL and Kelly Wallace of Vivian, LA; one brother, Tim Deahl of North Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Katherine Wheat of Texarkana, Jo Ward of Texarkana, Pauline Green of Texarkana and Purl Knight...

Mr. Deahl was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Deahl, son, Michael Deahl and step-son Robbie L. Roberson.

Survivors included two daughters, Susan Deahl of Bossier City, LA and Vicki Brittain of Blackduck, MN; three step-daughters, Judy Pike of Tampa, FL, Mary Crownover of Tampa, FL and Kelly Wallace of Vivian, LA; one brother, Tim Deahl of North Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Katherine Wheat of Texarkana, Jo Ward of Texarkana, Pauline Green of Texarkana and Purl Knight of Texarkana; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 am, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Dr. Tim Deahl officiating.
Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
