Daniel Bennett,79 of Perry Township, died June 1, 2010, at home, after a long courageous battle with cancer. The son of the late Daniel and Minnie (Sanders) Bennett, he was born in Buffalo, OH, January 3, 1931. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Sapp) in 2008, and brother Robert. He was a WWII veteran of the US Air Force and a member of VFW Post 2901, Cambridge. He is survived by his children, Terry (Kelly) Bennett of Canton, Teddy (Linda) Bennett of Virginia, Connie (Chuck) Tippens of Massillon, Edward (Kris) Bennett of Canton, Bruce (Paula) Bennett of Paris, OH, Nancy (Chuck) Reno of Canton, Cathy (Gregory) McCaulley of Magnolia, 25 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held June 5, 2010 at 11 AM at the Karlo-Feucht Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Friends are received at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor.

I am very sorry for your loss. Dan was very helpful to my handicapped son who lived near him and is also an avid Steelers fan. We considered him a friend and will miss him and his support. You have my deepest sympathy.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Dan for the last five years when i moved in two doors down from him, we always talked about the steelers whenever i saw him which wasnt real often but nontheless i'm sure he will be missed by many folks. HEY DAN GO STEELERS.
