Dan (aka Turbo) was my friend on BCAN. He always had something positive to say, support to offer others even while facing his own illness. We were told he lost his battle. I like to believe he won the battle for four years. Dan will be missed.

I was blessed to have met and worked with Dan for a number of years. Dan was a consumate professional who always acted with complete integrity, humanity and humour. We shared many laughs and achieved much together. A true gentlemen in every sense. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences.

Dan, you left me too early, we still had so much to do. I know this is Gods plan and someday it will all make sense but right now my heart is broken. Together we've been on many journeys, we laughed and we cried. We became one person if that's possible. Life was easy. Our greatest journey was your last one you endeavored. You stayed strong throughout your difficult fight. You began troubleshooting your illness and you knew what was happening from the moment we received your diagnosis. Yes, troubleshooting. I've heard that memorable word throughout our marriage.
Thank you for introducing me to a life that most people can only imagine. All the wonderful memories, travels and people we have met on the way will live in my heart forever. The outpouring of love that was shown during the past week from people we just met, to lifelong friends, your co-workers, our priests, medical staff and yes, even our maintenance and complex staff but most of all, the beautiful family we have. You would be so proud. Everyone who met you, loved you. You will be with me always, now you can finally get a full nights rest. You deserve it. Love you always, Lilly.

Dear Lily and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. I just recently heard that he was sick and that he was having Hospice care. By chance today, I just thought I would check the paper on line and saw the sad news. We have not been in touch in years, I know, but I still have fond memories of us as children.
Love,
Your cousin Patty and husband Tom Adams of Marblehead

Lilly, Jacqui, Brian and Family
I have so many great memories with Dan. We started at GE within months of each other and quickly became friends. Dan advanced quicker than I and I always wondered if he was smarter than me or trying to get away from me, maybe both. He even went as far as Australia and we still had reasons to stay connected, whether job related or science related, (which way does water swirl down a sink in Australia). Then Finland, we still had to talk! After all his worldly travels, we eventually came full circle and were back working with each other, tormenting each other. At least I was smart enough to realize many years ago, Dan had gone from co-worker to friend to great friend. Dan never demanded respect; he earned it, from everyone.
When Dan spoke of you, his family, he told me how lucky he was to have a great wife and two great kids. I haven't heard that very often in my lifetime.
I feel incredibly grateful to have known him and been his friend all these years. I learned so much from Dan as did all those privileged enough to work with him.
I can't imagine the grief you feel and I wish I could make it better. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
Dan, I'm glad you're free from pain but I'm sure going to miss you, Rest in Peace my great friend. Until we meet again.

Forever optomistic, funny, smart, adoring family guy, and great coworker. Danny brightened my day with a smile and a wave from across the shop floor, or parking lot. He was always good to talk to, listen to and just enjoy his presence. My sincere and sorrowful sympathy to his Wife and Family. He left us too soon. He is healthy now in God's care and I am sure Danny has made Him chuckle already. Glad to have called him "friend".
