Peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Friday April 7, 2017 at 91 years of age. Husband of Maria Teresa. Cherished father of Teresa Linklater & her husband Michael, Anita Colacicco & her partner Tim Russell, & Juliana Nunes. Devoted Grampa to Christopher Colacicco, Rachel Linklater & Ryan Russell. Survived by his sister Maria Amelia Melo of Alberta & his brother Francisco Nunes of Brazil. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dr. McIntosh and the staff and volunteers of Hillsdale Estates for their wonderful care and compassion. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, April 10th from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at ST. GERTRUDE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King St. East, Oshawa) on Tuesday April 11th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
