Parry, Daniel L., 67, of Cameron, Missouri, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Cameron, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his father Frederick Zainey, mother Marian Zainey, brother Frederick Zainey Jr. and sister Patricia Zainey. Daniel dedicated his life caring for others and his memory is a reminder of what is important in life. He is survived by his sisters Suzanne Marshall(Ed) of Fishers, IN., Mary Zainey Townsend of Indianapolis, IN; brothers Thomas C. Parry (Carolyn) of Cameorn, Missouri, David Zainey (Beth) of Springfield, OH; cousins Gaye Ann Barnett and Robert Herrman; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Daniel is a graduate of Chaminade Class of 1964, a graduate of Wright State University with a Master's Degree. He served in the Peace Corp in Chad, Africa for approximately 5 years. Following his service to the Peace Corp., he was employed at Nationwise Auto Parts for 17 years and Radio Shack for 15 years. Daniels hobbies included collecting guns and gun restoration. He had a great love of cats and dogs, gardening and was a gourmet cook. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday, February 28,2014 at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Emmanuel Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the Liberty Hospital Hospice, 1134 W. Kansas St., Liberty, Missouri 64068 in Daniel's memory.
