Dan V. Reynolds, age 43, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Woodstock, GA. Dan was born to Dennis V. Reynolds and Janet (Griffith) Thompson on June 26, 1970 in Bountiful, UT. Dan attended Bountiful High School and later received his computer training at CES which allowed him to pursue his career in IT which ultimately led him to Georgia. Dan met his loving wife Mare in 1991 in Salt Lake City, UT and they were married on October 24, 1997. They have 3 incredible children together.
Dan's great loves were many, he loved being outdoors and communing with nature, he loved all the various forms of life he could watch and interact with. He loved fishing, friends, cooking, music, woodworking, carving, AXES and KNIVES, kicking ass at paintball, practicing Aikido, being indomitable, growing vegetables in his garden, taking his dogs to the lake or just taking a walk, talking philosophy, challenging people's beliefs, and ultimately helping people to become more self-aware. His perceptions of life could find their way inside of you and not let go. He had a deep effect on all who knew him.
Dan is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mare, his 3 children Devon, Gabrielle and Lilian and his granddaughter Myabelle, whom he loved and cherished deeply; his dog Jackson, Dozer and Sassy. He is also survived by his brothers Dave, Don, Shad, Vernon; his sisters Tammy, Sally, Holly; mothers Shirleen and Janet. He was preceded in death by his dog Wooter, his grandparents; his father Dennis; and his Great Teacher, Corky Ra.
According to Dan's wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held in Woodstock, GA at Woodstock Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM with a visitation being held 1 hour prior to services. Danny will be greatly missed by every one. I remember when we were younger I would always chase Danny and Mike around all the time, I probably annoyed the hell out of him and mike. Mare and family just remember he loved you very much and he will always be with you.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dan's passing. I am sorry for your loss. I know you will all miss him so much. Such a shame that he had a short life but be thankful you had him while you did. I really enjoyed the photos you posted. Dan was a dear friend to me and I am glad I got to know him.

Praying that you'll sense God's presence
In this time of grief
And feel God's love surrounding you
And know His inner peace
For God cares so much for you
And wipes each tear you cry,
You never need to feel alone,
For He'll never leave your side.
