Danna Rae Fisher-Barnes was born on May 29th, 1977 in Tahlequah, OK the daughter of Delmor Ray and Fonda (Adkins) Fisher. She attended school in Hulbert, OK for 9 years then dedicated herself to the healing arts and attended Nursing School in McAlester, OK. It was here she received her most prized possession, her degree and her cap. Danna worked with the geriatric clients of Eufaula Manor Nursing Home, improving the lives of those patients entrusted to her care. Her dedication to her patients was carried over into her personal time as well. Danna Rae married Jesse W. Barnes on November 8th, 2003 at Ft. Smith, AR. This union was blessed with one son, Jesse Daniel and one daughter, Kaili Rae. She loved her children beyond measure and every spare moment of time was spent with her beloved children and family. Whenever time permitted, Danna Rae loved to go camping with her family. She enjoyed music and dancing. There was nothing better than a day spent swimming or scuba diving, and a picnic to follow. She enjoyed a walk with her two canine companions, Lady and Runt. She could make anyone smile with those bright and happy eyes. She was so very proud of her family, and never doubted their abilities for one moment. A Christian by faith, the Lord called Danna Rae home from her labors on November 2nd, 2012 in Stigler, OK. Danna was only 35 years old. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends for her kind heart, her warm smile and her unconditional love. Danna is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Daniel D. and Bessie (Potts) Adkins, and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Nellie Fisher, as well as two uncles, Leyon and Junior Fisher.
Those left to cherish Danna's memory include her husband of 12 years, and two beloved children.
