Dan was more than just a brother, hero and friend to me. He had a presence that embraced you, like the shade from a majestic oak drifting up the sidewalk. I will feel your loving embrace with every leaf filled branch I see.
Your baby sister.

Dan - the man who knew so many by name and had time for all who sought him out. The man who unselfishly helped so very many.
Dan, I find myself listening for your voice coming up the stairs or perhaps you appearing over my shoulder when you would wander the halls in "stealth" mode:) It has been a great honor to have known and worked with you. Your great leadership has been a blessing in my life and the life of my family.

Dear Brother,
The reasons you are special are too numerous to count, it would be like trying to count the stars in the sky. For me you will alway be my big brother the one who protected me. When I was 4 years old you had the patience to teach me to read and you have continued to teach all who knew you ever since. You have a big heart Dan and never failed to use it in your relationships with others. You taught most of us how to live a better life and that anything is possible. You overcame great obstacles in your youth that most people are not aware of but Pat and I know and remember. I loved you in my childhood, loved you in my young adult years and love you even more now in our golden years. I am so sorry you left us so soon but am happy that Jesus came and you are singing in heaven today.
always sis

Its hard to find the right words...I'll always remember during our discussions your ability to know when things just weren't right with me....and you ALWAYS took the time to discuss it and offer comfort. It's obvious by all the wonderful things people have shared about you that you made such an impact in this community, in the business world and on so many people personally.
