passed away August 16, 2014 at the age of 66 in Gun Barrel City, Texas. He was born on November 24, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. He grew up in Dallas, Texas. In 1967 he entered the Army and was a mechanic and expert sharp shooter. Danny and Jimmie lived next door to each other as children and were married when Jimmie was 16 and Danny was 20. They married on December 23, 1967 on his first furlough. Danny and Jimmie Bond owned their own roofing company, Danny Bond Roofing, after his tour in Vietnam. In 1967 he entered the Army and was a mechanic and expert sharp shooter. Danny and Jimmie lived next door to each other as children and were married when Jimmie was 16 and Danny was 20. They married on December 23, 1967 on his first furlough. Danny and Jimmie Bond owned their own roofing company, Danny Bond Roofing, after his tour in Vietnam. Danny’s major passion in life was his faith in God, he loved witnessing to people and singing in church. When Danny met new people he would break out in song often with their name in it. He had a nickname for everybody, notable among these were number 8, Peter Blood, Fish, Bill the Grinder, Jew, Toot, Jimma Lynn, Granny and Dooley. He had a giving heart and would help anybody including total strangers and would often taking in total strangers that had nowhere to live. In his younger days he liked working on cars, riding motorcycles, boating, skiing and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and could often be found making friends and family laugh. He loved to play around and joke. He also absolutely loved his dogs and leaves behind Ferrah, Cheryl, Jackie, Dutchess and Abby. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Wesley and Alline Bond and his grandparents , Arthur and Lennie Bond. Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Jimmie Sullivan Bond, his son James Bond, his granddaughter Julia and husband Emilio, his daughter DeeDee Tapp and husband Carl of Martins Mill, their children are James Jennings IV, Alyssa Jennings and Carlee Tapp, brother-in-law Johnny Sullivan, sister-in-law Beverly Sullivan Black, sister Sandra Bond Williams and husband David, brother David Bond, other loving family members and many more friends.
