Daren was a member of the Brazoswood High School Class of 1982. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1987. He was an employee of Chevron Phillips for 23 years. Daren was an avid sports fan, who loved his Oklahoma Sooners, Sam Houston State University Bearkats and Houston Texans. He loved animals, and rescued multiple strays that had been abandoned at his place of employment. We never knew what he was going to bring home. He enjoyed playing the Wii, and always had the most up to date electronics. Daren also loved listening to music, and had his iPod playing constantly. His two daughters were the light of his life, and he was very proud of their achievements
