Darrell Noah Brantley, affectionately known by his friends and many others as Homeboy, left his earthly home on June 13, 2017. He was born in Mobile, Alabama lived out the majority of his life there, and died there as well. Darrell has been preceded in death by many of his loved ones, including his mom, L. Darrell is survived by his daughter, Haley Brantley. Currently attending the University of Alabama, Haley was Darrell's pride and joy. Also survived by his two sisters, Pamela (Dewey) Foster, and Angela (Jeremy) Hunter. Nieces and Nephews - Emily, Ella, Nolan, Clark and Luke. And one cannot forgot to mention his beloved dog, Sparty. He spent his life working in the construction industry. In his spare time he loved to sing, play the guitar, draw, windsurf, and watch Alabama play. Darrell also loved to be on the back of a motorcycle and spending time with family and friends. Darrell lived his life passionately, making more loyal friends than enemies along the way. His greatest accomplishment in life was the realization that his greatest need was found in the love of Jesus Christ, and even though the daily struggles are real, we can rest in His grace. Services will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 @ 1pm. Visitation will be two hours prior, with a graveside ceremony immediately after at Forrest Lawn Memorial Garden.
