Peggy: We were saddened to hear about your loss in the recent email. Would like to have met Dave but just never seemed to have the time when passing thru Waco. We have both traveled a lot of roads since that graduating class of 1950 at Spur High School, and there are not that many of us left. We need to get
together sometime this year. Take care, keep a strong
faith and time will heal the loss.

Dear Peggy & Family,
I was saddened to read Dave's obituary. We were friends from our early years and classmates of the 1946-1950 Waxahachie graduating class. We worked together in Ft. Worth, TX (U.S. Department of Agriculture) during the summer between our sophmore & junior college years. In later years we talked about & laughed about our experience. He was a good man & will be missed by all that knew him. May you be sustained by memories of all the good times that you shared together.
