Dear Dave and Sue,
My heart goes out to you for your loss. During the years that we would meet at the Gray's, I vividly recall the pride illuminating from your eyes and heart as you spoke about Alex. Your love and devotion was most obvious. I have always heard good things about Alex from my daughters and his friends. He left a place that treasured him, and is in a place that treasures him.

I was sent reeling last night when I heard that Alex had passed. He was a student in my third grade class and I adored his spirit, his humor, and indeed his Texas-sized heart. I have thought about him as the years have gone by, and never imagined that we would lose him this early. Please accept my most heart felt condolences as I share a part of your pain.

Dear Gurney family
I am so sorry for the loss of Alex. He graduated with my daughter and he was loved by everyone. My daughter has said it would be impossible to find anyone to say anything negative about Alex. He will always be loved and missed by you and everyone else. Cherish all the memories and take comfort in knowing how loved he was by everyone
