"My condolences to David's immediate and extended family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It came as a shock to hear the news of David's passing. Just a couple of months ago I was in town and called him to see if he wanted to meet for a beer, but he wasn't able to. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with David for the seven years I worked at Dick's West End. He was always kind, generous, and absolutely hilarious. A great supervisor and mentor to all of us that were the crew in the meat market. He will be missed and always in our hearts remembering those crazy funny moments. The customer service and business skills I learned from David have served me well throughout my career. Rest in Peace my friend..."

Lisa and extended Keag family, what a shocking loss of a great guy. Dave was the friend that everyone should have. Crazy fun, caring, considerate and oh did I say crazy fun. He made me laugh for 47 years and I am so sad about his passing. May you all find comfort in your memories and smile when you think of him. I think he'd like that.

We were deeply saddened to hear that David had passed away. We had a
lot of great times in high school especially on the VHS Stingaree Basketball Team. David had a great personality and we know he will be missed by many people. May God bless the entire Keag family during your time of loss.

Dear Keag family and extended family- my heart ached when I heard about David. I could only think of what a great loss to everyone he knew and whose lives he had touched. I have fond memories of David as far back to when he was a Victoria Stingaree basketball player and cheering him on in that old gym! Then fast forward decades later, to find that he and my son, John Richard Kolodzey would be playing golf along with Mark (another Keag taken too soon) in the infamous annual Harry the Hat golf tournament held every Thanksgiving. It was an event, along with the team pairings and descriptions that was looked forward to in the Kolodzey household with great anticipation each year. My hope is that Mark and Harry both were there to greet David in a golf cart with a new set of clubs and beer in the ice chest saying "Let's go play a round! We have missed you!" I hope the memories of all the good times shared will sustain you through this difficult time, now and years to come. Love, Patricia
