My heart is saddened by the passing of David Laman. David was one of the kindest men I have ever known. May David find the peace he so deserves and the glorious reunification with his loving spouse, Joyce. It is through his faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, that he will find his forever home. He will be remembered as a man of strong faith, loving husband and family man. Godspeed, David. God Bless the Laman and Motes families.

My wife and I have many good memories of the years David and I served as elders at the MacArthur Park Church of Christ. He was a very fine Christian who embodied all the traits a good elder needs. He was not only a fine elder, bur was also a very good family man, Although that was many years ago, David never changed.
May the Lord comfort and strengthen you all now and in the coming years.

I know how difficult this time is, but let the Lord's peace assure you that your dad's joy is complete as he rests with his Savior in paradise. Both he and your mom were so inspirational to Steph and me. His kind and gentle nature is something to aspire to. I am blessed to have known him.
In Love,
Brian & Stephanie Howell

Thank you Dad for beginning every day reading the bible and praying for each family member. You thought me many things but the greatest was to love the Lord your God. Love you! Laura

Love you, Dad. I play "God Be With You" on the piano and imagine you are singing it to me.
