David M. Johnston, 60, of Naples, FL, passed away from complications of diabetes on November 18, 2016. He was born in Wyandotte, MI in 1956. David graduated from Oakland University and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology. He was married to Charli on December 12, 1987. David had a successful career in the Banking and Information Technology industries for over 35 years and was most recently employed with Acxiom Corporation where he was greatly admired by many friends and colleagues.
David is survived by his dear wife, Charli; his two cherished children, Michelle Morris (Rhys) and Kevin Stephenson; his caring brother Doug Johnston; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He was the proud Papa of his grandchildren, Alec and Veronica. He was predeceased by his loving son, Scott Stephenson.
Services will be held privately amongst the family. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the American Diabetes Association.
