David Crowder Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 25, 2016.

David Wayne Crowder

Born March 21, 1956 in Dallas, Texas and passed away November 23, 2016 in Garland, Texas. David is preceded in death by parents, Homer and Bernice Crowder, and brother Cecil Harris.

He is survived by his brother Glen Crowder, sisters Janis Abbott and husband Tommy, Linda Savage and husband Butch, and numerous nephews and nieces.

David was an avid car racing enthusiast and a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved family gatherings and visiting with family and friends and in turn his family and friends enjoyed his warm and witty personality.

David was a gifted athlete in football, track and basketball at Sunset High School in Dallas. He was offered a football scholar ship at Texas A&M, but declined so he could attend UT at Arlington and wouldn't have to leave home.

Memorial Services will be 11 AM Saturday January 7, 2017 at David Clayton and Sons Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations or memorials be made to your favorite charity.
