Dear Adele and family:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful husband Dave.
One of my greatest joys as secretary here at the Michigan State AFL-CIO was looking forward to Dave's visits to the office of then President William Marshall.
He would walk into the office with that beautiful smile of his and he and Mr. Marshall would enjoy discussing politics and world events.
I loved looking forward to his visits. I shall cherish those memories. What a special guy!
May he rest in peace.
God Bless you and your wonderful family.

My sincere sympathy to the entire extended family of Dave.
He was always offering to help during my election campaigns and encouraged me to get involved in several of the organizations which he was connected with, such as TPA and the Elks.
In years following, I would often see both he and his wife at various restaurants around the north end of G.R.
After my own retirement, I lost contact with him, as I spent most of my time in Florida.
May he rest in eternal peace.
