My Uncle David was the greatest and he and Aunt Katie will be sorely missed. We were close up to the end even though I was far away. Will never forget when my wife and I moved back to KC to start medical school and we were low on money and Uncle David and Aunt Katie brought us a wedding gift. It was as if manna had dropped from heaven! I am so blessed to have him in my life and even named a son "David Allen" Koerper!

Dave was my boss many years ago. I will never forget how he would take his lunchtime 6 mile run daily no matter what the weather was. He was fiercely determined at whatever he did , selling insurance, flying his Navion plane or running 6 miles around the Plaza at lunchtime. I would like to send Blessings and Peace to his family. Rest in Peace Dave.

Dave was my dad, and he was a great dad. Always supportive, and never over-bearing. He always let me do, within reason, what I wanted to do. When I wanted to pursue a career in advertising, he was all for it, calling me up out of the blue with ideas for slogans. When I wanted to change careers into insurance, he was definitely all for it of course, and we had many long conversations about insurance and how to best service our customers. Thanks Dad for the life that you enabled me to have. The world is a better place having had you in it. Your son, Tom

There's no words to express the sadness I feel for your loss. Dave was my boss for many years, but more important a true friend. I admired his kindness, generosity and "ZEST" for life.
Dave took such pride in his agencv, but nothing compared to the pride and love he had for his family.
My synpathy and prayers are with you.

Dave was not only my insurance agent, but my employer twice and my friend always. I came to know Dave through my father-in-law, who was one of Dave's first clients. He offered me a job when he needed some extra help, and knew I was looking for something, too. To his credit, I am STILL working for a State Farm agent, after almost 40 years! I pray God's comfort for you, Linda, and Sarah & Tom. He loved you dearly and was always proud of his family. I'll miss his friendship and his great smile.

Dave was a terrific insurance agent. I signed up with him when I moved to KC 31 years ago. I always appreciated his advice — and I promised him I'd never let anyone talk me out of my $250 deductible!
