David was born on March 4, 1938, adopted by his beloved mother Margaret Anderson, and grew up in Rockport, Massachusetts. After graduating from Rockport High School, David attended the Wilfred Academy in Boston. Years later, David trained at the Tufts School of Nursing and retired from there.
Divid touched many people. He and his lifelong partner of 28 years, Roy Sylvia, loved to travel together from Alaska to Cape Cod, also spending countless weeks in North Conway, New Hampshire with beloved friends Anna and Ralph Junge and their daughter Karen.
There will be no funeral service, by David's request. Roy would like to thank Beth Israel Hospital for the loving care given by all the doctors, nurses and attendants who worked with David. Roy would also like to thank Richard O'Brien for his constant support, and also Danielle, Rob, Andy, James, William, Daniel and Harry for their unfailing kindness and concern.

David was my cousin and was a happy child. I enjoyed our times when as youngsters we would play and romp around our grandfather's dairy farm in Falmouth.
David had a quick wit and quiet ways.
I shall miss our phone calls.
