It's been a year since you've been gone David. I'm now retired from PCH but I think of you often. I'm so glad that I met you and now you are an angel that I talked to in heaven.

Thanks so much for all the kind words. It's extremely difficult for us to accept the fact he is no longer a part of our every day lives in person - but in spirit only. David - you are sorely missed.

Dave's smile and daily greeting at the PCH Employee Parking garage is already very missed by many of us. He greeted employees by name and was so jovial every day. I was shocked to learn of his passing and my sincere condolences to all his family. June Lundy,Phoenix

Deepest sympathy to David's family. He was such a presence here at PCH and will be missed. I remember coming back for the first day after three months of maternity leave and having David greet me by name, ask all about the new baby and welcome me back. He really went the extra mile to make PCH a warm and friendly place to work.

I am saddened for your loss. David was a very nice man who was always friendly. I met him on my first day of work, February 2009, and he helped me find my way around which made me feel more comfortable. He really made us feel safe parking in the garage. He would walk around and pay attention to all the cars parked there and the plates, I admired his dedication to his job. He will deeply be missed by a lot of us at Phoenix Children's Hospital. He will always be in our hearts.

So sorry to hear of your loss! David has touched many lives here at Phoenix Children's Hospital and was loved by all who knew him! He was the first person I would see each morning and the last person I would see each evening before and after work. He was always quick with a smile and a wave and a very pleasant conversationalist! We all took comfort knowing he was there looking out for us and we surely miss visiting with him.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for 'David's' family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

And...may God bless you and confort you in your time of grief.

Sincere regards,

Christina Ash
