I'm so glad to have another opportunity to sign this guest book. We have so many special memories of "Plain Dave." It didn't matter if we were fishing, bowling, playing ball, or just hanging out, Dave was the life of the party! I will never forget my trip up the stairs at Grandma's in Duluth, being carried upside down on Dave's shoulder. I'm not sure why he carried me! It was so good to see you last summer, Dianne. You are doing so well, handling so many things, and I'm so proud of you! Dave is missed so very much! I'm so glad you two found each other! Treasure the memories!

Dave was a wonderful father, friend and husband. I will miss him and his humor, one could not hope for a better man and father for Angella. Him and Dianne were blessed when they found each other. His family will always be in my prayers.

Dianne, you and Dave always exhibited a zest for enjoying life. I remember when I started working with you in the late 70's and met Dave and the fun trips you both organized for skiing up in the Telemark area.

Dave was one of the most knowledgeable and skillful fisherman I have known. He was also an enthusiastic gourmet cook. We will all miss him greatly.

One of the first memories I have of Dave was watching him examine cheese under his microscope. From a young age I remember Dave wanted to be a "scientist". He was always curious and also had a quick wit.
Dave will be missed by many.

I have known Dave for almost 39 years. Having him as a friend has made my journey through life richer, happier, and more complete. He became such an important friend his dad and I named our son after Dave. The rest of my journey through life will be less rich, sadder, and not as complete without Dave in it. There will be an empty space in my heart now. You will be missed beyond what words can express. Boola, Boola Dave. Boola, Boola. Patti Linner
