My brother was a wonderful brother. There was never a time that he did not respond to my calls for help. He will always be in my thoughts every time I call my moms and he does not answer the phone. He would always have a little smart response when I asked where my mom was or what she was doing. He showed his love in a very special way that only those close to him would understand.I miss him so much. I do not know how to express my love for him and I only wish he was still here so I could tell him.So , David I loved you so much and I should have told you that more. Thank you for all you have been in my life. I will miss you terribly brother. I loved you more than you ever knew.

Although I only knew David a few years, those years were full. He was my husband Robby Kurtts best friend. David was always smiling & laughing. I respected David for the man he was, the son he was, the grandfather he was and more. He always made me smile. He worked with my husband Robby Kurtts and was his best friend. David will truly by missed by both of us. His laugh I will never forget. My heart goes out to his family. He was loved and respected by Lynn and Robby.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my best friend and long time work companion. We worked side by side on numerous projects spanning 35 years. David was kind hearted man who would help a friend in need....anytime. We traveled the country working together and endured many long hard physical days. David was a good advisor and was always good for a laugh and I will never lose his memory. My Prayers are with the Coalburn family and know that David loved all of you.
I will miss him and always have him in my thoughts and now its time for him to Rest In Peace.
