At his residence, with his family by his side, on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at 61 years of age. Dear husband of the late Susan Marie Gutsell and step-father of Keith and Colleen. David was the much loved son of William and Beverley Gutsell of Oshawa and the dearly beloved brother of Debra Scriver of Peterborough and the late Robert Gutsell. He will be forever remembered by his nephew Michael Scriver (Greer) of Chaffey's Lock, and nieces Sarah Scriver of Vancouver, Jennifer Radoslav (Stephen) of Fort Frances, Rebecca Burns (Travis) of Guelph and Hannah Scriver of Peterborough, and by his great niece Victoria Radoslav. Dave will be sadly missed by his aunts, Greta McWilliams of Oshawa and Irene Gutsell of Burr Ridge IL. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Susan Sayce and his many close and caring cousins and friends. Special thanks to the medical professionals at Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre and the wonderful nurses and PSW's who cared for David at home. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, July 17th from 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. If you wish, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care.
