Mr. David Ray Hager, 53, of Statesville, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Olin Village. He was born in Warsaw, NC on October 13, 1959, and was a son of Lou Bagwell Hager and the late Rev. Eugene B. Hager. David was a computer graphics programmer with Kewaunee Scientific Corp. Before moving to Statesville, he was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church in Goldsboro and attended First Baptist Church in Statesville. He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro, Wayne Community College and Appalachian State University with a B.S. in graphic arts. Mr. David Ray Hager, 53, of Statesville, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Olin Village.
He was born in Warsaw, NC on October 13, 1959, and was a son of Lou Bagwell Hager and the late Rev. Eugene B. Hager. David was a computer graphics programmer with Kewaunee Scientific Corp. Before moving to Statesville, he was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church in Goldsboro and attended First Baptist Church in Statesville. He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro, Wayne Community College and Appalachian State University with a B.S. in graphic arts.
David is survived by a child, Sarah Vincent Price of Seattle, Washington; his mother, Lou Bagwell Hager of Statesville; two brothers, Michael E. Hager and wife, Ann, of High Point and Mark T. Hager and wife, Debbie, of Statesville; a sister, Mrs. Linda Perez and husband, Richard, of Sarasota, Florida; and nieces and nephews: Daniel and Caroline Hager, Laura Perez and Jennie Rae and Tara Hager.
Services will be conducted at 6:00 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. David Gilbreath officiating. The family will speak with friends immediately following the ceremony.
