David A. Herren, 51, of Glasford, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born December 2, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois to Wade and Patty (Coats) Herren Sr., he married Gerri Mecum October 21, 1983 in Dover, Illinois. Surviving are his wife: Gerri Herren of Glasford; his mother: Patty (Ralph) Jones of Illinois and Arkansas; two brothers: Wade (Jutta) Herren Jr. of Kingston Mines, Robert Herren of Peoria; two sisters: Joycelyn (John) Hartman of Peoria, Kathleen (John) Picco of Peoria; nieces and nephews: Christopher Lembke of Peoria Heights, Kellyn Guitterez of Chicago, Adam...
David A. Herren, 51, of Glasford, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born December 2, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois to Wade and Patty (Coats) Herren Sr., he married Gerri Mecum October 21, 1983 in Dover, Illinois.
Surviving are his wife: Gerri Herren of Glasford; his mother: Patty (Ralph) Jones of Illinois and Arkansas; two brothers: Wade (Jutta) Herren Jr. of Kingston Mines, Robert Herren of Peoria; two sisters: Joycelyn (John) Hartman of Peoria, Kathleen (John) Picco of Peoria; nieces and nephews: Christopher Lembke of Peoria Heights, Kellyn Guitterez of Chicago, Adam Hartman of Peoria Heights, Benjamin (Sarah McCabe) Herren of Kingston Mines, Eric Herren of Kingston Mines, Kevin Herren of Glasford, David Lee Herren and Larissa Herren of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his father, one infant sister, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
David served in the United States Army as Staff Sergeant during Desert Storm. He was currently a third shift supervisor on the paint line at Matcor Fabrication Inc. in Morton, Illinois.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Glasford, Illinois, with visitation two hours prior to services.
