Latham, David Ronald Sr., age 65, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was a member of local L0917-Internationl Union of Operating Engineers & Owner of Landmark Excavating. He was a master mason member of South Knoxville Lodge #769, 32 degree mason & member of Scottish Rite Temple. He enjoyed working with "cloth his children" through Blackmont Baptist Church-Kentucky Rev. David Howard. Survived by wife of 46 years, Betty; sons, David Jr. & wife Teresa, Paul & wife Christy; daughter, Angi Martin & husband Dewayne and two very precious grandchildren, Taylor Latham and Sarah Martin, which he loved dearly; brothers, Roy & Gary Latham; sister, Juanita Fleck. Special thanks to Dr. David Schumaker & the staff at Tennessee Cancer Specialists. Also, special thanks to staff at Tennova Medical Center at Turkey Creek. He was treated with wonderful love & care. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 for a graveside service.
