Obituary

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow, I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain, I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die. Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep,
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow,
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain,
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.

David Harry McKee;

It is with great sorrow the family of David H. McKee announces his passing after a courageous battle with ALS on July 26th, 2014. David's death came too soon for his loving family and will be sadly missed. He was an inspiration to us all. He was a loving brother to Frances McKee, Bill McKee (Lynne) and Linda Kita (Stan). Loving uncle to Lori, Billy, David, Shannon, Stanley and Flory-Lynn.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home on Thursday, July 31st, 2014, from 7:00P.M. - 9:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Canada.

Native American Prayer:

I give you this one thought to keep-
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints of snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

"Our thoughts are with you Fran and your family. David was such a kind person. Carolyn and Al"
