PAXTON, David M., 70 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 8, 2014 with his family at his side. He is survived by his son Michael Paxton of Dayton, sister and brother-in-law Connie and Donald LaVorgna of MD, two brothers and one sister-in-law Marvin and Evelyn Paxton of Lakeview, OH, Malcom Paxton of Seven Mile, OH. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Margie (Bensinger) Paxton in 2004, his parents Lyle and Lillie Mae (Skiver) Paxton. David was a retired US Air Force MSgt. He also retired from WPAFB where he worked at the Air Force research laboratory. David was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3491 and Loyal Order of Moose #2464 both of New Carlisle and was a graduate of Dixon High School. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends starting at 9:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road, followed by a Celebration of his life at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Riley presiding. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery, Morning Sun, Ohio. Messages of sympathy and support to his family may be made at: www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
