Michele,
I don't know what I can say to help you and your family at this sad time.
David and I shared a number of significant experiences in the twenty plus years of our friendship, ranging from real estate shopping in the Virgin Islands to getting him addicted for a time to EverQuest online gaming. But he wasn't really happy until his real-life questing led him to you.
Many of those commenting here have mentioned the happiness they saw he brought to you. As his friend, I'd like to thank you for saving him. He was never happier than he was with you.
May God bless you and the family you brought to David. He will always be with you. I know I'm looking forward to seeing him again in our next life. Godspeed, David!

Michele, I remember when you and David married. You could see the happiness that he brought to you by the smile on your face each day! I am very sorry, and will hold you and your family up to God in prayer in the days to come. God blessed both of you in finding each other as everyone could feel the love when they were around you both. And as you know he was a blessing to all who knew him. You both amazed me in how you both accepted, loved, and faced this difficulty with such grace...Love to you

Michele, My heart breaks for you. Your David was such a kind and gentle soul. He closed his eyes to life in this realm but he opened them up again in heaven. David left you with a loving legacy to sustain you. His love was always sparkling in his eyes. You are a strong and God loving Christian lady with a heart always open to help others. I am so thankful for your friendship you extended to me long ago. Our Heavenly Father of peace, comfort, and grace is with you, and He will guide you all the way through. I love you and God bless you and family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I only knew Mr. Rupar for the semester that he was my instructor, in that little time he left a big impact on me. He had such passion for the chemistry and knew it so well that he would explain in more detail than what we needed. I will never forget how nice and helpful he was. If anyone had a problem he would say You will need to ask Mrs. Rupar, she's the boss

I only had the opportunity to know David for the last few years. But what an impact he and Michele have made on my life. In numerous discussions, David was a powerful listener! He had an incredible way of looking at things from a different perspective. He had a genuine smile and a mild mannered way that if you knew him, you couldn't help but appreciate. I often looked forward to our visits, I always felt better after spending time with him. Whether our discussions were serious or if we were just joking around, I always felt better. Although I only knew him for a few years, I am grateful our paths crossed at all. I will always treasure the lessons he taught me and the way his life has affected mine. Until I see you again my friend, I will miss you...
