David Paul Wiser, 63, passed away June 7, 2010, of a long-term illness. He was born March 17, 1947, in Braddock, Pa. He graduated from Wilmerding High School, then attended Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, for three years. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, serving as trombonist in the Air Force band. His music degree was completed at UNLV after relocating to Las Vegas in 1975. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; children, Natalie Wiser-Orozco and Erick Wiser; and parents, Raymond and Anne Wiser of North Versailles, Pa. David Paul Wiser, 63, passed away June 7, 2010, of a long-term illness. He was born March 17, 1947, in Braddock, Pa. He graduated from Wilmerding High School, then attended Duquesne University, in Pittsburgh, for three years. For 30 years, his love of music, as well as electronics, has been realized as owner/technician of Wiser Electronics, servicing electronic organs and equipment for churches, hotels, professional musicians and residents of Las Vegas. Many have depended on David for his professional expertise, and he will be missed. Viewing will be from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Services will be at noon Sunday, June 13, with a reception to follow, all at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones Blvd. A reception will be held after services at same location.
