Dawna Lee Stewart
Dawna was born at sunrise on October 18, 1942 in Manchester, Connecticut to Harry and Iris Aronson. Dawna was the youngest of four children. She later moved to Vermont with her siblings where she attended Montpelier High School and successfully graduated. Dawna continued her education and became a CNA in her early professional career. On New Years Day 1960, Dawna was married to Gene Wayne Lamore of Montgomery Center, VT. Over the years they had three children: Randall (1961), Alanna (1963), and Mathew (1976). Eventually Dawna moved to Palm Beach Gardens, FL where she worked as co-owner of several family run businesses. After the passing of her first husband, Dawna was blessed to have been reunited with her high school sweetheart Douglas Stewart and the two were married on the 26th of November in 2000. It has been said by many that the happiest years of Dawnas life were spent with Doug traveling between Florida and their home in Woodbury, VT.
Dawna Enjoyed several hobbies in life from fishing, crafting, making ceramics, baking, riding the county back roads, to cruising the world and Las Vegas and slot machines.
Dawna is survived by her sister Althea, her three Children, seven granddaughters (who she was incredibly proud of mind you..) and her three great grand children. She was the center of her family and will be missed greatly in the years to come.
In lieu of flowers, our family requests any memorial donations be given to Hospice of Palm Beach County as they provided her with excellent care in her final days.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4th from 3-4 PM with services to begin at 4PM, Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center, 1112 Military Trail, Jupiter.
