Bartonville: Dean I. Arnold 78 of Bartonville passed away on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. at his residence with his family by his side.

Dean was born July 5, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, IL. the son of James Claude & Lela Ann (Richards) Arnold. He married Nancy Mosburg on April 29, 1960 in Peoria.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years; his children, Leanne (Doug) Sanders of Bartonville, Steven (Tami) Arnold of Bartonville; four grandchildren, Holly (Randon) Swearingian, Amy Sanders, Mason Arnold and Aleia Arnold; one brother, Wayne (Aileen) Arnold of Mt. Vernon; one sister Deanna (Bob) Johnston of Whittington, IL.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Doris Coffin.

He retired from Caterpillar in 1986 after 32 years of service. He also did business advertising for Newton Manufacturing for 30
years.

Dean was the first shuttle driver at the Greater Peoria Airport. Last working in February.

He was a well known taxidermist in the area for over 20 years.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel. Reverend Eimo Henrichs will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice and MDA/ALS Association.
