Debbie Lovegrove Whitsett, 61, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her home. She was born April 10, 1953 in Fort Smith to the late Kathleen and Robert Lovegrove. She was a homemaker, and a floral designer for Williams Florist & Gifts in Van Buren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren; graduated the Class of 1971 from Van Buren High School; and attended the University of Arkansas' School of Business, graduating in 1974. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Lovegrove.

She is survived by her husband, Riley Whitsett of the home; two sons, Matt and Brad Whitsett, both of Fort Smith; two sisters, Margaret Harris of Van Buren, and Sandra Goodman of Florence, AL; and a brother, Tom Lovegrove of Tulsa.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Van Buren with a private burial at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Debbie may be viewed at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ron Selby, Rick Spoon, Mike Hurst, Ronnie Capelle, Larry Yancey, and Bill Gentry.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
