Debbie A. Agnello, 60, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2011. She was born on August 4, 1951 in Key West, Florida, the daughter of Ralph and Julia Young. Debbie loved being out on the water in the boat, soaking up the sun, especially at her summer home in North Carolina. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a sales representative for Unisource. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Julia C. Young, sister, JoAnn Brown and son, Kevin Agnello. Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be deeply missed. Debbie A. Agnello, 60, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2011. She was born on August 4, 1951 in Key West, Florida, the daughter of Ralph and Julia Young. Debbie loved being out on the water in the boat, soaking up the sun, especially at her summer home in North Carolina. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and a sales representative for Unisource. Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Julia C. Young, sister, JoAnn Brown and son, Kevin Agnello. Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband and best friend of 42 years, Richard A. Agnello; son, Bryan and wife Jenna of Norfolk; father, Ralph Young of Norfolk; granddaughter, Jenna and daughter-in-law, Melissa Agnello of Chesapeake; brother-in-law, Robert Brown; niece and nephew, Ryan and Loren Brown and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM in Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601, N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach, 23462. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 12:00 Noon officiated by Monsignor William Pitt, in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus, 5351 Virginia Beach Blvd., Va. Beach, VA 23462 in Debbie's name.
