Debra Kay "Debbie" (Jackson) Elyea, 56, of Rockford passed away on Saturday May 4, 2013 at her residence.
Debbie was born on December 5, 1956 in Rockford, the daughter of Elbie and Delfa Elder Jackson. Debbie worked in the Deli Department at Hilander Grocery. Debbie had a passion for singing, baking and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family.
Debbie is survived by her mother: Delfa Peroutka; children: Timmy A Prince (Crystal), Dana M. Prince-Akridge, Jeffery D. Prince (Susan), Michael D. Elyea and Brandon M. Elyea; grandchildren: Natalie, Alyssa, Samantha, Lettey, Dakota and Gracie; brothers: Larry Jackson (Danielle), Rick Jackson (Jenny) and Eddie Eubanks; sisters: Kathy Peroutka (Tim) and Paula Mutert (Don).
A service to celebrate Debbie's life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday May 10, 2013 at Advantage Funeral and Cremation 7000 W. State St. Rockford; visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Willwood Cemetery in Rockford.
